Jennifer Maxwell...Radio Goddess....

Ten things about my life:

1. I am a mother and wife before anything else. This fact is core to who I am; everything I do is inspired by these four people I love so much and I will always put them first before anyone or anything.

2. I am originally from Wisconsin.  No, I have never owned a cow.

3. I am a musician, descended from a long line of musicians.  I sing, play the drums and I have played the violin for many years.  I've been in bands throughout High School and College.  The music gene has bred true; all three of my kids play instruments and/or write music and lyrics.  (Poor Connors has to put up with a LOT of noise!)

4. I am a HUGE fan of The Beatles and Aerosmith.  I will listen to any music, from Mozart to Marilyn Manson.

5. If I could travel anywhere, I would travel the world to see reportedly haunted places.

6. I miss Friday Night Fish Fry - Cheesehead style!   I love hushpuppies and sweet tea though!

7. I can't talk without moving my hands.  I think it's a Latina trait!

8. I am very proud of my Latin heritage.  I speak, read and write Spanish...when I am upset I sound like Ricky Ricardo!    

9. Connors can make me laugh harder than anyone.

10. I am a voracious reader, a fan of British comedy and I have almost every Looney Tunes episode memorized!


My Top Ten-ish:

1,2,3,4 Connors - my husband, partner, best friend and partner in crime.  My reason for breathing. 
Lennon, Caleb and Lydia - our children, the greatest gift I have ever been given.  It's such an honor to be your mom. 

5.  Mom, my inspiration.  You are the first perfomer I remember seeing, and I love you for believing in me.

6.  Dad, the first announcer I remember hearing.  El que me ha ensenado a estar orgullosa.  

7.  My brother Miguel.  I am so proud of you, and I miss you terribly.

8. My best friend, Scott.   The best friend I have ever had, the one my heart has needed my whole life.

9. My Mentor,  Mike Ferris.  Your wisdom guides me every day.  You rock!

10+ Lynn Zee, Van, Gabby, Luke, Jeff, Murph;  Thanks for believing, helping and guiding me along this crazy path.  You are all so important to me.
