Outer Banks Conservationists and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse invite you to celebrate the tower that in 1875 lit the East Coast’s last dark space. Still a public, active aid to navigation the beacon has not only guided thousands of Atlantic-faring ships along to safety but it is also an architectural delight, both inside and out!
On December 1st, come experience its sense of place and help to celebrate the 147th year of the lighthouse. Your joy in and support of the Light Station will help us preserve its local, state, and national history for another century and a half!
Please come climb as our guest anytime from 11am-4pm. Feel free to invite/bring friends.*
*You can also commemorate the tower’s big day with a Season Pass for unlimited climbs, available for purchase for individuals and families, which also includes unlimited visits to Island Farm in Manteo.
